January 2nd, 2019: Wednesday

The Magnetic Levitation project finally took off, after a series of discussions during the previous semester the newly formed team assembled today to begin brainstorming. The team and their mentor discussed various types of methods of magnetic levitation. After discussing potential methods, the team began pondering on how to possibly implement an application of magnetic levitation. Today, the team constructed a simple model out of accessible materials to mock up a train track and cart. In the next few days, the team will further investigate on possible new methods of application.
